LADY

Lady is the most gorgeous quiet shy little tiny girl you could ever wish for!  She is a Maltese cross Chihuahua only 1 1/2 years of age.  When she came in her coats was very roughly cut back with scissors so we have had her clipped and groomed and she looks just stunning!  She has a slightly undershot jaw but eats and drinks with no problem.  She has been desexed, microchipped, and fully immunised, given worm and flea treatments.  Her price is $400.00.

CHU-CHU

Chu-Chu is a gorgeous little Chihuahua cross Pom/Pap of 3 1/2 years.  He is a long coat whom we have had clipped as his coat was in a mess when he came into rescue.  Nice cuddly boy. ALBERT

Albert is a Shitzu cross Maltese, 2 1/2 years.. Very happy and loving. Jumps on seat and pushes head into you rolling over. Loves cuddles and loves sitting next to you. Doesn't care about kids other dogs or cats. Just wants to be with his owner. Can jump 4 times his height if not more. Needs secure yard. Easy to handle tho not used to clippers. . SILVER

Silver is the most unusually coloured, fawn, smooth coat Chihuahua 2 years old, and is very timid and shy but not biting at all.  He has been desexed, immunised, microchipped, and is looking for a quiet home where he can learn to trust humans.  His price is $400.

PUP ONE

Not a Chihuahua but a big young puppy who was going to be euthanised!  At a guess we think she is a Staffy cross Heeler!  This puppy will grow into a big dog and will require lots of exercise.  Her priceis $250 and she is now ready for adoption.  She has been desexed, immunised and microchipped, and we believe she is about 15 weeks old  She is very playful, loving toys and the other little dogs, likes to snuggle into you for cuddles!

FOXY

Foxy is a gorgeous well behaved Fox Terrier, could be Mini Foxy, about 2 years old.  He spent thirty days in a pound and was due to be euthanised so we decided to give him a second chance as he seemed such a good little boy.  He has been desexed, immunised and microchipped.  Vet says he is in excellent health.

Just look at those beautiful soft eyes!  He sits for his dinner and then eats sooo daintily!  He allows you to remove his plate (which we have only done to assess his reaction!)  Bless him, he sat on his bottom and looked right into my eyes with total trust!  Told him he was a very good boy and gave him the rest of his dinner, and then a little treat!

CHARLIE

Oh what a darling little dog!! Charlie is about 2 years old, and one of the most obedient little dogs I think we have ever seen in 24 years doing rescue!  He is very quiet, comes to get a pat and sits in front of you!!  He gazes into your eyes with so much trust it just melts your heart!!  He walks beautifully and obeys all commands!  Sits for his dinner, when finished he sits again beside the empty plate and waits for you to give him praise!!  Unbelievable!!  He is a Jack Russell (we think!!) cross Chihuahua.  He has been desexed, and microchipped, and will be immunized in a day or so.  His price is $300.  The person who adopts this little guy will need to like walking daily as he needs the exercise and he loves it too!!

BENJY

Benjy is a Chihuahua cross with something and looks like a very mini Corgi!  he is 6 years old, desexed, immunised and microchipped, wormed, had flea treatment, complete vet check.  He is a very healthy little man and loves people and walkies!  He gets on well with the other dogs and is always wanting to play.  His price is $400 and he is ready to go to his new forever home now!

PIPPA

This gorgeous little Chihuahua x Jack Russell puppy is eight months old and in excellent health and condition.  So playful, and so willing to learn!  She needs a firm hand and certainly some training!  She will "sit" on command, and does walk on harness.  She has been desexed and microchipped,  immunized with C5,  and given flea and worm treatments.  She has the softest coat which she inherited from her Chihuahua parent!  Those loving eyes are full of trust, she is totally delightful!  Pippa was listed as Pippin and was homed at six months but due to ill health her doting new owner has been unable to keep her.  Poor little girl cannot understand why she has come back in to rescue!  You can see the "questioning" look in her eyes!

MING

Every now and then we find a gorgeous little dog that is an absolute dream!  Ming is one of those!  She does not bark, is toilet trained, and gazes into your eyes with total trust!  She is approx. one year old. She came to us from a pound situation where she was held for thirty days and not claimed.  She has now been fully immunized, desexed, microchipped, given worm and flea treatments.  She has her two long canine teeth actually lie along her gums instead of hanging down like fangs!  Our vet says he has never seen this before in a dog, and nor have we.  Vet advice is that they be allowed to stay there as they are causing her no problems whatsoever and she eats comfortably.  Her price is $400

BANDIT

SIRUS

Sirus is a long coat blue pure Chihuahua of about 2 years.  He has been desexed, immunized, microchopped, had worm and flea treatment.  His coat is in the process of growing back.  Sirus loves his toys and bring them to you but won't let you have them!!

Sirus was homed but it has not worked out.  Here is his story:- Sirus.  We got him out of a pound one day from deaths row!  So everything we know of him is just guesswork, but we estimate his age at about 18 months, and possibly the result of a puppy farm situation.  When we picked him up he would not go anywhere near anyone or anything!  Over the eight weeks he slowly came out of his shell.  He would roll on his back for tummy rubs and this was the only way he would allow you to pick him up!  But we just worked with his wishes, not wanting to force him in any way, just gentle rules and love.  He was very good the first time I bathed him, and even better the second time!  He loves his toys - or all toys, but especially the pink ones!!  Once you pick him up he likes to sniff your face and nose!!  He is not shy of getting cuddles!  We have not tried walking him yet, so that is some training still to do.

He did not bark for a long time, but now he does bark when greeting us each morning and runs around in circles etc.

I am sure he will "come round" eventually.   Lynn went and picked him up from the woman who wanted him, and while Lynn had him for three days, she had him coming up to her when she offered him Smackos!  So it is possible he might work on the "rewards" system.  We normally work by voice command only, so maybe Lynn's method may work better in his case!

Sirus sleeps inside and has access to our backyard throughout the day.  I would not say he is 100% toilet trained yet but certainly we are no longer having accidents here.  

Chihuahua Rescue Victoria has paid all his fees from pound etc. Desexing, fully immunising, microchip ping, and his teethe were cleaned three months ago.  His fee will be $400 to cover these expenses.

SANCHOS

A gorgeous little long coat boy of about 2 years who has just come into rescue.  He was very sad when he came in but has picked up and now plays chasey around the yard with the other dogs, tail wagging and eyes sparkling!  He has had a good bath, been wormed and given flea treatment.  He has had his C5 immunization and is being desexed  Thursday.  He is just a wee bit timid but warms to you fairly quickly.

OSCAR

Tiny Oscar came in to our care almost starved and very debilitated.  Fof several weeks he has been nursed back to health.  He has now had extensive surgery done on his teeth and has been desexed, immunized, given worm and flea treatment.  He is beginning to show an interest in life and the other little dogs!  He is only six years old but he looked like an old man!  He has very happily now found his new home and settled in really well.  He still has a fair way to come, but he is on the way to a full recovery!

CHLOE

Chloe is 1yr 8mths. Chihuahua who has just come in to rescue.  She has been abused by many children so we are seeking a peaceful quiet home for this darling little girl.  She will not be available for a few weeks.

Bruno is a twelve week old little mixture!  His mother is half Chihuahua and half Toy Poodle, his father is unknown but thought he could be a Shitzu.  No matter what parentage, he is a well adjusted loving, cuddly little puppy.  He has been desexed, immunized, microchipped and wormed regularly every two weeks since he was five weeks.  He is now ready to be adopted and bond with his forever loving family.  His price is $400.

BILLY

Billy is a six year old pure Chihuahua looking for a furever home!  He is the most loving little pet anyone could wish for!  Not a nasty bone in his body!.  He has been desexed, fully immunized, and mocrochipped.  Vet check says he is in perfect health.

You get these little dogs come in to "rescue" from time to time and they are just so traumatised from their recent experiences, that you wonder if they will ever be settled.  Within days, they all seem to settle down and become one of the family!  Billy was one who settled very quickly.
He "looked" over a few potential people who would have liked to adopt him.  Finally Diane and Simon called and Billy went straight to Diane, who picked him up.  Billy just settled straight down on her lap and went to sleep!

Just letting you know we made it home okay.  Billy has been great with the other animals
Even the chicken.  Billy, Moo Moo and Mr Lou are all on the couch asleep together. It’s just fantastic to watch them.  You would think Billy had always been here.

Billy is the dog for us!  He goes to the toilet out side, not one mistake, wow !!

Missy loves him and she is much happier, but best of all he really loves Simon. He will sit on his chair during the day and on his lap at night. Simon real taken to him. Billy waits at the front door at night for him to come home lol. He doesn't care about the chickens at all and he loves the back yard, only thing he rolls in the chicken poo :) then we bath him he sleeps under the Doona at night with us, you don't even know he is there. He is my wonder boy he is truly fantastic little man can't wait to see you again
