LUCY

Lucy is a Chihuahua cross possibly JRT of estimated 5 years of age.  She came in to our care as a scared frightened little dog.  We soon discovered that she was not hearing much at all.  Our vet cleaned out her ears while she was under anaesthetic to be desexed and discovered Lucy has had a long term ear infection obviously left untreated.  That left ear has now been flushed out and she is on a course of ear drops.  She is still quite deaf, hearing only sharp or loud noises.
