ROGER

Roger is a gorgeous little "older" man.  He is very friendly with everyone, getting along well with the other dogs, and friendly to people.  He is a Chihuahua cross and when he came in he was 2.5 kg so very skinny however he is slowly gaining some weight and this morning 6/8/15 he is now 3.2kg.  Another .3 kg and he will be perfect!

ROY

Roy is a little mixed breed of six months.  People bought him as a Chihuahua at six weeks of age from a "farm" where they claimed he was a Chihuahua! However he has grown and and then grown some more!  We think he could be Fox Terrier cross and possibly with a Chihuahua, but who know!
At six months he is 4 kg and a lovely friendly little dog, just a little timid with big dogs on first meeting, good with other small dogs.  He will not be suitable with young children, and not sure how he would go with cats.  He is desexed, fully immunized, microchipped, had worm and flea treatments.  His price is $300.

CHICO

We received this letter today, and out hearts are aching tonight.  Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with you at this time.

Chico.

As you may recall, Chico joined our family in April 2011 and was a great companion to Bob.  Bob passed away a year ago today, at 15 years of age.  Chico was heartbroken at losing Bob and found himself in emergency a few days later with fluid on the lungs.  Chico was a beautiful, placid dog who loved nothing more than belly rubs from Darryl and sitting on my lap.  He was patient and cooperative over the last year, as we did all we could to keep him well.  He also did his best to keep his sense of humour when we bought a puppy – Teddy – home last September who we hoped would learn many of Chico’s good habits.  We are honoured to have had Chico in our life, and would like to thank you for your part in making that possible.

We have a small amount of Chico’s heart medication left (only a few weeks) which we would like to pass on to you as we understand that it is expensive, and that you may have a little puppy in your care who needs it.   What is the best way for us to get this to you?

Are you also able to advise if there is anything that you need for the care of the Chihuahuas, as Darryl and I would like to make a contribution in Chico’s name?

We will also soon be looking for another companion for Teddy – who has been a bit of a handful over the last week – soon.  We would be grateful if you could please keep us in mind if a placid, gentle boy around 6 or 7 comes your way.  In any event, we always keep an eye on your Facebook feed.

SMILEY

Smiley is a gorgeous friendly playful puppy of approx 12 weeks.  He has been given his initial immunisation, been desexed, and will be fully immunised before he leaves our care.  We believe he is a Westie cross Mini Foxy.  His price is $400.  He has an interested party!

BILLIE GIRL

Billie Girl is an eight year old, desexed female.  Toilet trained and really well behaved. She gets along with the other little dogs here but is more a little miss independant, would make an excellent "only dog".  Not sure how she would handle cats or young children.
She is in excellent health.  She has been fully immunised and is microchipped.  Her price is $200 "as is".

BUTTONS

Buttons is a small terrier type mixed breed dog of 18 months, desexed, fully immunised, microchipped, been given worm and flea treatments.  She will not fit in with children of any age.  She is ok with the other small dogs here but would prefer a home with a full time stay home Mum, as she tends to worry if left alone.
She is just over 3 kg so very tiny.  She does not shed hair which is a huge bonus and is toilet trained.

PATCH

This little girl was "saved" from death row due to being "unsocial" in the pound, but bring her into our home and she is the most wonderful little dog, just so loving and desiring love and attention!  Very well behaved and clean.  She is probably a Chi cross Mini Foxy at a guess, aged just 2 years 2 months, desexed, immunized, and microchipped.  She has had both worm tablet and flea drops.
We would not recommend young children, but she does get along with the other smallo dogs in our care, not sure of cats but because of her attitude to the other dogs we would assume she would be OK with cats.
